Who the hell is Lee Hodges!?

 Lee Hodges..holy moly!

I have to come clean here, I don't think I had ever really heard of Lee Hodges. This guy crushed the 3M Open! He looked so unflappable.

Was it boring?

Hell yes, it was.

Did I watch?

Not as much as I should have now that I stepped onto this plank.

Per my last post... it's a bit of a snooze, yet we persist.

I mentioned last time that rounds had not finished upon my posting and the results as of my writing may not reflect what the leaderboard ended up looking like after the 2nd round was finished. Sometime after I posted that I saw Lee Hodges went off!! Like brutalizing TPC Twin Cities and the field. Nuts stuff.

In realizing that my references might be dated I am going to keep on leaning in.

Lee Hodges is 26th in driving accuracy and 8th in distance..aka he's a piper! How did I or you not know about this dude!? I'm not saying you weren't aware of him, but I'm totally saying you weren't aware of him.

One thing that I do hope that these last few weeks of the season lead to is a change in the FedExCup standing system. 2 guys that won (Hodges and Bhatia) might not make it into the playoffs on some bs rules. Hodges DESTROYED! The dude deserves to be playing for the next month.

Our MegaCorp man JT Poston finished a measly -17. I say measly because he was SEVEN shots behind Hodges. Yet most of the scoring was ridiculous this weekend. The cut was -3... -3!! The CUT! This course is not easy either. Ask Ludvig Aberg.

The betting crowd favorite Aberg shot a 64 on Friday and was cruising on Saturday... Until he got to the 18th. The 18th at TPC Twin Cities was the hardest par 5 on tour last year, statistically.  Aberg shot a 9 on 18 on Saturday. Ludvig, we know that feeling. 9's on scorecards at any level are difficult to write. Ludvig Aberg ended up with a 73 on Saturday and could not claw back much on Sunday. I said he would be a threat over the weekend. Perhaps a threat to himself and the fish in the 18th pond but not the field.

One more snoozer coming to you from Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, NC next week. The Wyndham Championship might be a bit juicy because players will be taking some big risks to try to get in the FedExCup Playoffs.

Until next time!
